Babies

Sophie, part 1

re you ready for some SERIOUS cuteness? I mean... I have felt like I was going to burst with excitement for these pics of my favorite lil subject (apart from my own daughter, naturally) from the second I saw her in her pink tutu and pigtails. If you were to look up the meaning of cute in Wikipedia, I think you might find some of these pictures. Ok, that was cheese, not cuteness... but, you get the point. Baby Sophie is no longer a baby... she's a year and a half old now and toddling and talking all over the place. The last time her face graced my blog, she was just 11 months (her final session to complete Baby's First Year), and she has grown so much since then! But still just as cute as ever. I have a feeling you all will agree. So... Happy Viewing, friends!

I had to start with one of our faves! I mean, you can't ask a 19 month old to do this for you, but it was exactly what I envisioned when I asked Jamie if she would mind putting Sophie in a tutu for this shoot.

So... the bubbles I also envisioned didn't quite make an appearance, but this will do! ha!

Just wondering, Jamie... would it be creepy if you came over to my house and saw this real large on my wall? Because I think I want it! haha!

And of course, some flare! LOVE this one!

I know, I know... any photographer that looks at this might think I should've used a flash or a reflector here, but I love it just the way it is.

this next one is a little extreme... more artsy than portrait-y. But, I love the contrast and how she seems to be floating!

I love the colors (and the eyelashes) in this one!

Man I love pigtails on little girls! Too bad Claire doesn't have enough hair yet.

Kinda of like the first one... but how cute is she, seriously?!

By the way, this shoot was a pretty special one. Chris came along to shoot some video... and it all will be revealed later! Also... there was a second part to this shoot that I am saving for tomorrow. It also contains extreme cuteness.
